In this "How to" you will learn how easy it is to pressurize an OxyHealth mild portable hyperbaric chamber

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • OxyHealth Mild Portable Hyperbaric Chamber
  • Air Compressor
  • About 5 Minutes
  1. Step 1

Begin by assisting your client into the chamber

  2. Step 2

    Turn on the air compressors

  3. Step 3

Ensure the Relief Valve located at the head of the chamber is completely closed. Turn the valve clockwise until the rubber o-ring is snug against the chamber wall.

  4. Step 4

    Pull the inner zipper shut

  5. Step 5

Lay the dual gasket seal flat along the zipper

  6. Step 6

    Pull the outer zipper shut

  7. Step 7

When the chamber finishes inflating (before it begins to pressurize), run your hand along the outside of the zipper. This will ensure the dual rubber gasket lays flat between the zippers providing a good seal.

  8. Step 8

As the chamber pressurizes ensure the client is capable of clearing their ears. If they are unable to keep up with the rate of pressurization either hold pressure or slow down the rate of pressurization.

  9. Step 9

Wait approximately 3 minutes as the chambers pressurizes to 4.4 psi. At this pressure the spring relief valves located at the foot of the hyperbaric chamber will push open, automatically regulating pressure.
