Things You'll Need:
- Paper
- Scissors
- Internet connection optional
-
Step 1
Well since I am paper snowflake challenged I actually had to go to the internet and look up patterns for snowflakes to get me started.
So if you are like me search the net for a site you can work with. I've listed one below. -
Step 2
Print out the pattern you've picked out from the site or take a plain piece of paper.
-
Step 3
Fold your paper in half the long side. Then fold it in half the short side. Make a triangle shaped fold in your paper, and keep folding it over. It will take 3 or 4 folds.
-
Step 4
Now if you are snowflake challenged like I am start with the pattern you printed from the internet. Cut out the shaded parts they've given you. If you are not snowflake challenged draw an outline on your folded paper and cut it out.
-
Step 5
When you unfold it you will have a paper snowflake.

on 12/19/2008 I love to make paper snowflakes they are such a cute and cheap decoration . I will admit I cheat and use coffee filters , I never get my paper folded right . I will have to try this and see how it works for me .

on 12/12/2008 Thanks for this pattern resource; it's been a long time since I've made a paper snowflake too, so I'll have to do a little practicing. :)
