If you have little ones , the time in NOW to start those Christmas traditions , Put out a plate of cookies & a glass of milk for Santa , & don't forget Rudolph & his buddies ,
Things You'll Need
- Plate of Cokkies
- Glass or milk
- a few carrots
Before the little kids go to bed on Christmas eve. Have them set out a plate of cookies & a glass of milk.
If they can , Have them write a little note to Santa , If they are to young to write the note, write it for them & ask them what they want it to say. then have them color some Christmas designs on the note. ( After Christmas that note can be put a way & become a family treasure in later years)
Lay a few carrots next to the plate. Tell the kids they are for Rudolph & his biddies pulling Santa's sleigh. Reindeer like a snack on Christmas eve also
Now rush the little ones off to bed , when they are fast asleep & before you go to bed , Have a little snack of cookies & milk. Make sure to leave one cookie on the plate with a bite taken out of it. So it looks like Santa got full & couldn't finish all the cookies. Put the carrots back in the ice box.
On the note in red ink - write , THANK YOU FOR THE COOKIES , LOVE SANTA & lay it on the plate.
The looks on the kids faces when they see the cookies, milk & carrots are gone is worth a million bucks.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL & TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT, LOVE SANTA
