Acid reflux is miserable. If you have acid reflux, you may have stopped eating some of your favorite foods or started taking chalky tasting medicines which are hard on your wallet. Acid reflux can be a real problem if it goes on long enough to damage your esophagus. I was diagnosed with acid reflux in 2002 and prescribed medications that I refused to take. I cured my acid reflux naturally. I hope this works for you too!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Start taking Choline Bitartrate with Betaine HCL. It is a vitamin supplement that is good for a variety of things. I took Choline for less than a month and my acid reflux went away. I have not had problems since, and I have stopped taking Choline.

  2. Step 2

    2. Lay upside down for at least 10 minutes a day. This will get your sphincter valves working properly again and that will cause your acid reflux to go away. You do not have to be completely upside down. You just have to have your hips above your shoulders. You can do this by buying an expensive inverter table or by hanging off the bed but that is extreme. It is easier to lie on a board propped against the couch or prop your hips up with pillows.

  3. Step 3

    3. Follow an acid reflux diet for a month to give yourself relief while waiting for the Choline and inverted table to work. But don’t feel like you have to restrict your diet forever. When I had acid reflux, I gave up coffee and spicy foods all together. Now I have a big mug of coffee every morning and eat Mexican, Indian, and Pakistani food without a second thought.

  4. Step 4

For immediate relief while waiting to heal, eat small meals throughout the day and don’t eat late at night. Sleep with your head propped up six to eight inches to keep from getting acid reflux during the night. Avoid foods that aggravate your acid reflux: fried and fatty foods, coffee, tea, caffeinated sodas, spicy foods, orange juice, milk and chocolate.
