Often someone wants a list of domain names because they are looking to purchase one that already gets traffic.     The top list of domain names provided by alexa gives ranking to the websites. This is useful for many reasons. The reports can be done by global traffic, country or categorically. You can also search on this site to find your webpage and find out where it ranks according to others like yours.

  2. Step 2

    There are many places to find a list of domain names for sale. Many of these places are brokerages that will sell on behalf of individuals and tack on a fee. None the less, these are great places to get domain names which already have a decent traffic rating. You can buy one of these and have your site coming up in search engines from day one.

  3. Step 3

    Browse expired or pending list of domain names. Have you been looking for a domain name, but it seems that everything you look for is already taken? Check out the sites offer a list of domain names which are about to expire or have already been deleted. This is a great way to get a good domain name.

  4. Step 4

    Top Level List of Domain Names. Not sure this is what you are looking for, but top level domains are the extension domain like .com or .info. There are so many out there, if you have a reason to look them up.
