here are instructions on how to perform a chin jab.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • training partner
  1. Step 1

To start, you want to deliver the blow w/ the heel of the hand, full force (in combat, not in training), putting your body weight behind it. The fingers should spread so they can reach your opponents eyes. Gounging into the eyes can be an additional fight-ender.

  2. Step 2

Make sure to aim for the point of your opponent's chin. This will cause the opponent to suffer not just from blunt force trauma, but whiplash from the velocity of the strike

  3. Step 3

Follow through with another attack. Do not stop attacking until the attacker is down and out. The key with this technique, as in all close combat techniques, is to keep attacking the opponent with an overwhelming amount of force. Putting your attacker on the defensive and not letting up will cause him to become your victim, instead of the other way around. Your key is survival by any means necessary.

Tips & Warnings
  • Deliver this blow when up close and with your arm bent
  • Never draw your hand back, telegraphing the strike. Always hit from where your hands are
  • A knee to the groin can set up this move
  • This technique is VERY dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. It should not be practiced without a qualified instructor present.
  • When practicing, do not practice full-force & full-speed; as this can very seriously injure your training partner.
