Step 1
* For the Students out there that need an account, Bank of America has something great for you, its called the campusedge account, there are no fees for the next five years of your banking life. And if you add Keep the Change to your checking account, you will avoid paying any fees on your savings account.
-
Step 2
* If you open a Myaccess checking account you can avoid paying any fees by adding a direct deposit, even a direct deposit as low as $1.00 can make the monthly fee disappear.
-
Step 3
If you opened a Regular Checking account, the minimum is $750.00 to kill the fee. Keep in mind this is the average monthly balance that you must keep in your account.
-
Step 4
* Now if you are an advantage customer, here's where it can be a little tricky, you will have a regular or interest bearing checking account and you must keep at least $5000.00 on an average daily balance. If you include the money market savings, then you must keep an average of 15,000.00 on an average daily balance, so don't be fooled by the personal banker who wants your business.
