This is an easy way to make a great tasting eggnog. You can also add a little alcohol to your eggnog to add a little pep.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • blender

The first step is to beat the two eggs very well in a good sized bowl. Gradually stir in the rest of the ingredients until very well blended. Add the milk to the beaten eggs first. You want to mix the wet ingredients together first then add the dry. So after you add the milk to blender with the eggs, next add the vanilla.

After you have the ingredients all blended well together, place the pitcher in the refrigerator to cool. You can also add a little pep to your eggnog with alcohol. Rum is a popular choice along with Brandy. You can add as much as you want as long as it is not to over powering. No one needs to be getting hammered off of the holiday eggnog!

Now that you have the eggnog cooled and ready to serve, distribute evenly among cups and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the eggnog. This adds a little appearance and the cinnamon accents the eggnog. You can also add a pinch of brown sugar if you would like.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep your eggnog refrigerated until you are ready to serve.
  • Be sure and blend the eggnog very well so it is smooth.
  • Be sure and notify your company if you have added alcohol to your eggnog.
  • Never leave the eggnog left out of the refrigerator too long.
