Here's a yummy recipe for making wassail that will be a hit at your holiday party.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a crockpot
  • apple cider
  • frozen orange juice
  • pineapple juice
  • cinnamon sticks
  • whole cloves
  • whole allspice
  1. Step 1

You will need the following Ingredients:
    2 Gallons Apple Cider
1 8-oz. can of Orange Juice Concentrate
1 64 oz. can of Pineapple Juice
    4 sticks cinnamon
    8 whole cloves
    8 whole allspice

Note: This recipe makes a large batch. Recipe may be halved if you are making it for a smaller gathering.

  2. Step 2

Combine all the ingredients in a large crock pot (Or, if you don't have a crock pot that is large enough, you may use 2 smaller crock pots). See bottom of page for a tip on combining the spices.

  3. Step 3

Cook the wassail in the crock pot on High Heat until it is heated through. You can reduce the heat to Low Heat once the wassail gets hot.

  4. Step 4

I would recommend removing the spices when ready to serve. Finally, ladle your wassail into cups and enjoy!!! Your guests will love it.

Tips & Warnings
  • Optional: If desired, you may place the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice in a small bag made of cheese-cloth to make the spices easy to remove.
  • Be careful...the wassail will be HOT!
