Things You'll Need:
- Interest in advertising other than hard copy and through agencies
-
Step 1
HIRE A PROFESSIONAL VIDEOGRAPHER to make a presentation for your use on a website, for mailings or giveaways to use as a form of advertising your business.
-
Step 2
PURCHASE A HIGH DEFINITION MOVIE CAMERA or at the least a 3CCD video camera that someone on your staff can manage to use for recording special presentations or creating one. The 3CCD pictured in this article is a professional camera. There is only one consumer brand and camera available of this magnitude, although there is a company releases two more models in March 2009. All will run just under $1,000.00.
-
Step 3
DO NOT FILM YOUR PROJECT yourself if you do not have direction as to what a professional presentation should look like. Unless you or someone you know has a creative film mind, it would be best to leave getting footage to a professional. Besides, the product still has to be edited. Ask yourself do you have the capabilities and time to do the work from start to finish, uploading to a site included.
-
Step 4
MAKE A QUICK REFERENCE VIDEO that will enlightened consumers about what services or products you offer without a lot of hype. The footage should have a unique sale tactic, but straight to the point showing the style and function of the business.
-
Step 5
CREATE A DVD of the marketing tool and use it to submit to investors, upload to a blog or professional business site or create a link to it. This presentation can also be used as a hand out incentive at special events or malls.
-
Step 6
KEEP IT COST EFFECTIVE. You don't have to use dual layer DVD's or the most expensive DVD-R or DVD+R to record on. Yet for a master, always use the highest quality DVD and keep a copy of it safely secured and expertly packaged.
-
Step 7
USE MAGAZINES AND OTHER HARDCOPY advertising for short articles that direct the reader to you DVD presentation that is more upfront and personal. Be sure to include for those referred to it, that they get a sense of who is in charge of the business for added flair and provoking sales.
