How to Make Bathroom Curtains To Match Your Shower Curtain Really Cheap

Use these easy, quick tips to make bathroom curtains to match your shower curtain. No need to purchase expensive bathroom curtains when you can make them for next to nothing. Update your bathroom and give it a new look or dress it up for the holidays. No sewing!

Things You'll Need:

• tension rod
• 2 hand towels

1. 
   Adjustable tension rod

   Measure your window and purchase a tension rod to fit. I have a standard 32 inch window, most bathroom windows may be smaller. Securely insert tension rod in window. Give a little tug to make sure it's in there.

2. 
   Similar design on shower curtain.

   Choose two hand towels that match your shower curtain. You may even have towels that match. I like to use towels that have some sort of design. Check out the discount stores for great bargains on hand towels.

3. 
   Similar design on towels.

   Drape towels over tension rod, adjust to an even length, and pull close together to avoid a gap. Again, give a little tug to make sure the tension rod is secure. You decide how short or long you would like them.

Tips & Warnings

• You can make a top and bottom curtain using the same technique, depending on your preference.
• Always check out the discount stores for hand towels.
• This project cost me $5.00. The rod was $1 and each towel was $2.
• Make sure the rod is placed securely in the window.
• Do not use towels that are too heavy or bulky
