Things You'll Need:
- soft soothing music
- optional: calming herbs, teas or other homeopathic remedies
- optional: Scented candles, oils or another aromatherapy item
- optional: soft lighting such as a candle

Step 1
Optional: Take calming herbs and/or natural remedies to get you in the mood for relaxation like Kava, tea, passion flower, ect.

Step 2
Dim the lights or turn them off completely in order to acheive soft lighting. You can also use candle light.

Optional: use scented oils or candles designed for aromatherapy.

The next thing you'll want to do is turn on some calming music and play it softly.

Sit in a comfortable chair and listen to the music (using earbuds is best to block out all other sounds). Try to imagine you are on vacation somewhere you long to go. As in the words of Peter Pan "Think happy thoughts"

Step 6
Take deep shallow breaths and calm your breathing. Do not release yourself until you have reached total calm and are ready to go about your day or evening.
