How to Paint Your Appliances

Instructions

1. 

   Make your old appliances come to life by giving them a fresh coat of paint that won't wear off right away. Use an appliance spray paint to keep your appliances looking good.

2. 

   Painting a refrigerator is not hard, however, you will want to take your time, or you will have paint run-off dripping and running all over the place. Place newspapers around the bottom on the floor.

   Start painting with a light spray, just enough to barely cover an area. Let that set for a few minutes while you spray over the rest of the appliance.

   Now, go back over the entire appliance. Use a sweeping motion, making sure you cover the entire area. You will want to watch carefully, since any missed spots will show up rather quickly. Let your hard work dry for about 6 hours. You will want to have fresh air during this time. The paint is pretty strong, so you may want to leave a window or door open while doing the painting, and for a while afterwards. I think it took me around four hours, for the paint fumes to settle enough to close the doors.
