Step 1
Find your local dealership. Most full dealerships have HOG chapters (although some don't). Ask someone there when and where the chapter normally meets.

If you don't want to deal directly with the dealer, use the web! You can find out some really good information about when the group commonly has their meetings as well as the type of activities they do on a regular basis.

Attend a general membership meeting. Most chapters allow you to attend two meeting before encouraging you to join. This gives you a chance to decide if this is something you want to become involved in.

To join, you'll just need to fill out an enrollment form with your National HOG number and general information. You'll pay your dues (which vary by chapter) to the club's secretary.

Some dealers offer a discount for joining the chapter at their dealership that you pay for up front. Be sure and ask about this when joining as it can really save you some money in the long run.
