1. Choose a reputable breeder. KiddYorkies.com is the absolute best breeder that I have researched. But there are other good breeders out there. Visit the Westminster Kennel club website, to view and contact top breeders in the U.S.

2. Know what you're looking for. Have an idea of the size, color, and type of yorkie that you want. Are you looking for a show dog or a pet? Do you need assistance in showing your dog to his/her Championship? Do you need tips on how to housebreak your new puppy or dog?

3. Be sure the breeder answers all of your questions. Do not deal with any breeder who is hesitant in answering your questions. A reputable breeder will be glad to give you the answers that you are seeking.
