Unplug your Christmas tree before you go to bed or before you leave the house. Keep small ornaments or breakable ornaments out of small children's reach. Always keep an eye on them when they are around the tree. Kids love lights and colorful things so the frst thing they'll do when you turn your back on them will be going straight to the tree.
