To lose weight it is very important to increase your metabolism. There are many companies that claim to have the magic pill that will increase your metabolism. These pills are dangerous to use. The pills that claim to increase metabolism are nothing more then caffeine and lots of it. This caffeine increases your heart rate to unhealthy levels. There is a way to increase metabolism naturally. Read on to see just how simple this process can be to help you to see the weight loss that you want.

  1. Step 1

    Eat small meals every two to three hours through out your day. To increase metabolism naturally, you need to give your body a constant stream of fuel to burn. This keeps your internal motor burning bright and hot.

    Include a lean protein and complex carbohydrate in each of your small meals. By keeping your meals healthy through out the day, you will begin to lose weight immediately. This will also help to increase metabolism.

  3. Step 3

    Do 45 minutes of cardio 3 to 4 times a week. Cardio workouts are important to increase metabolism. This type of workout gets your heart pumping and keeps your energy up to help you to lose weight.

  4. Step 4

    Include strength training in your workouts 3 times a week. Strength training is important to do to build up muscle. Muscle burns more calories then fat in your body. This is important to weight loss and to increase metabolism naturally.
