Instructions

    • 1

Apply hair spray to the sole of the shoe and allow it to dry before wearing. The hairspray will temporarily make the bottom of the shoe tacky and slip-free.

    • 2

Mark three large Xs in the sole of the shoe with a pair of heavy-duty scissors. The scratches will provide friction between the shoe and the ground.

    • 3

Rough-up the sole of the shoe with a coarse-grit sandpaper. This will provide grip at the bottom of the shoe.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not use a fine-grit sandpaper as this will smooth the sole of the shoe and make it even more slippery.
