Make a Cheap Christmas Gift
Make a Cheap Christmas Gift

This is a fun way to save money and give someone special a cute gift.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Christmas stocking
  • Ribbon
  • Small bell
  • Christmas confetti
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  1. Step 1

You will need to get a Christmas stocking, ribbon, a small bell, Christmas confetti, glue, and scissors.

  2. Step 2

Take your Christmas stocking and lay it flat. Use your glue glitter pen and write out the persons name you are giving your gift to. Write the name in pencil first if you are worried about making the letters the right size. If you do not have time to let the glitter glue dry use a blow dryer on the stocking for a few minutes.

  3. Step 3

Take a few pieces of confetti and glue them on around the name. Have fun with it and make a design with the confetti.

  4. Step 4

After your stocking is dry, take a arms length of ribbon and thread it in your bell. Put the bell in the center of the ribbon and tie the ribbon tight to your stocking. Their should be about the same length of ribbon on each side.

  5. Step 5

Curl both sides of the ribbon. Make sure the edge of your scissors goes on the lighter side of the ribbon, to avoid scratches on the shiny color.

  6. Step 6

To get a free gift box for your present, go to a department store and ask for one. Most department stores give away gift boxes when you purchase an item. However if you are really tight on money and can not do that, tell whomever you talk to at the department store you have bought something the other day and you forgot to get a gift box.

Tips & Warnings
  • This can also be a fun activity for your children to make and give away to mom, dad, friends, family or even a neighbor.
