If you know what a potential boss is looking for in an employee, you have gotten that job interview aced. With these few simple tips you are sure to ace your next job interview and come away gainfully employed.

Things You'll Need:

  • confidence
  • proper attire
  • straight forwardness
  1. Step 1

    Dress the part. Wear professional looking attire.

  2. Step 2

    Go easy on the makeup. Less is best in order to ace a job interview.

  3. Step 3

    Eye contact is of the utmost importance. Your potential boss is looking for honesty. Proper eye contact is the key to let your possible employer know that you are speaking the truth. If your eyes are darting from side to side or you are unwilling to look the person conducting the interview in the eyes, they will assume that you are lying.

  4. Step 4

    Show confidence. Even if you are a little unsure of the situation, don't let it show. In order to ace that all important job interview, you must know what you are doing.

  5. Step 5

    Show a willingness to work.

Tips & Warnings
  • Only speak of your qualities, not of your short comings.
  • Don't tell a potential employer that you can only work certain days or hours. This shows an unwillingness to be available for work.
