How to Open Virtual Trading Account

Virtual trading account is a trading account that you create to trade stocks, ETF, etc. without using your own money.

1. You don't have to risk your own money when you open virtual trading account to test your strategy. The equity (stock, ETF, bond, etc.) price will follow the actual market price. Most of big online brokerage firm have virtual trading platform to trade with virtual money (not your real money).

2. A lot of big online brokerage firm offer virtual trading account, thus you can test drive their trading platform. However they want you to open the real trading account with them in the future.

3. Virtual trading account can be very useful to learn and test your strategy before risking your real money. You can use most of their tools and resources while you open virtual account.
