Things You'll Need:
- Internet Browser
- Titles of Songs You Like
-
Step 1
Grooveshark logo from http://escapemg.comIf you know the exact song title you have in mind, check out Grooveshark Lite: http://listen.grooveshark.com. All you need to do is type in a song title, and it brings up a list for you to choose from. You can save your favorites for free, send song URLs to your friends, and even create a playlist of certain songs you picked out.
-
Step 2
If you want to build a playlist based around a song you like, use http://www.pandora.com. Just type in a song title, a band name, or a type of music, and Pandora automatically creates a listening station for you. If you create a free account, they save your listening stations for you to come back to.
-
Step 3
Last.fm is a great free resource for listening to music from your favorite artists. An artist's page has songs by them you can listen to, or their own 'radio station' which plays similiar artists. It is surprisingly accurate (for the most part) and is a good way to find out about new music.
-
Step 4
YouTube Logo from http://searchenginewatch.comIf these three options fail, try http://www.youtube.com. A lot of times, people post the song as a video with no graphics (or their own pictures, etc.). This still allows you to view the music video or listen to the song, and link it to someone else.
