How to Make Natural Homemade Furniture Polish

Making your own homemade, natural furniture polish can save you money. You will also have the added benefit of knowing exactly what is being sprayed in your home. Commercial furniture polishes simply can not provide that peace of mind. You can tweak the essential oils used in the furniture polish to design a fragrance that is uniquely your own!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 Liquid Castile Soap
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 10 Patchouli Essential Oil
  • 15 Cedar Essential Oil
  • Spray Bottle
  1. Step 1

    Combine all ingredients in an empty plastic spray bottle. Shake well. Other essential oils may be substituted for the essential oils in this recipe to achieve the desired scent. Pine and rosewood oils also provide a nice fragrance.

  2. Step 2

    Label the spray bottle as dusting spray. Store in a a cool, dry place when not in use.

  3. Step 3

    Spray onto a clean cloth and use the homemade furniture polish to clean any wood surface through out your home. This is a all-purpose spray that can be stored and used for everyday cleaning.
