Radio had chart-topping hits from Ike and Tina Turner, Van Morrison and Aretha Franklin. Fashions ranged from bouffant hairstyles in the early part of the decade to go-go boots and mini skirts in the mid-sixties, while musicals like "Hair" were popular entertainment at the end of the decade.
