Things You'll Need:
- Tape measure
-
Step 1
Measure the distance from the bottom of the seat to the top of each baby walker. It should be short enough to allow your baby's shoulders to stick out, but long enough that his waist is hidden.
-
Step 2
Consider baby walkers with an adjustable height feature. Not all babies are shaped the same. Some have extra short legs. If you can lower the toy to fit your baby, all the better.
-
Step 3
Look for features on the baby walkers that stimulate your baby. If your child doesn't like music, for example, pick one without sound. If your child is fascinated by lights, make sure lights are included on the model you choose.
-
Step 4
Check the bottom of the baby walkers for brakes. It is extremely important for you to be able to stop movement at any given time. Each wheel should have a break, not just 1 or 2.
