The first thing you can do is to keep the static from building up when your clothes are in the dryer. The obvious answer is to use dryer sheets in a load of clothes drying in a clothes dryer, however, studies have shown that dryer sheets cause build-up in your dryer and can be a fire hazard. Try using dryer balls instead of dryer sheets. They usually come in packs of two, however, you can use more than two which will dry your clothes faster.

If you do have dryer sheets around, take one and rub it on your clothing before putting it on. If you are sensitive to the fragrances of dryer sheets, try the unscented or free and clear type.
