Ever look at your jewelry and wish it was shinier?

With my article you will learn how to avoid paying hundreds of dollars on jewelry cleaners and start saving money by cleaning your diamond jewelry yourself. It is so simple to clean your jewelry and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that YOU cleaned it, You made this diamond sparkle and shine brighter than it has in years. It's great feeling to have been the one to bring a beautiful diamond back to life. My technique will work on any diamond jewelry that you have whether it be a diamond necklace, diamond ring, diamond pendant, diamond earrings, diamond bracelet or any other type of diamond jewelry.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large Towel
  • Small Towel
  • Tooth Paste
  • Tooth Brush
  • Five Cups of Hot Water
  • Small Bowl
  • Large Bowl
  1. Step 1

The very first step in cleaning your diamond jewelry is gathering all the materials and setting them up on your dining room table. Note: DO NOT set up near any sink, bath tub, or toilet. You do not want to have to deal with losing your diamond in the pluming. Place your large towel on the top of your dining room table so that you do not spill water onto it. Pour about one cup of hot water into your small bowl and place it on top of your large towel. Pour three cups of hot water into your large bowl and place the large bowl onto your large towel next to your small bowl. Place a small amount of toothpaste on your toothbrush and set aside. Take your diamond jewelry and submerge them in hot water in the large bowl to break up any dirt stuck in your jewelry.

  2. Step 2

Next you insert your toothbrush into the large bowl of water. Take your diamond jewelry out of the hot water and gently brush your diamond jewelry with the toothpaste and tooth brush. Note: On the underside of the diamond there will be a gap in the gold or silver to let light through the diamond. Make sure to clean everything out of there thoroughly. The more light able to get to the diamond the shinier, brighter the diamond will be. Continue gently brushing the diamond jewelry and rinsing it in the large bowl until no signs of dirt or toothpaste is seen.

  3. Step 3

Now that your diamond jewelry is clean place it into the small bowl of hot water and let it sit for about two minutes. This process makes sure that there are not any traces of dirt or tooth paste left. Remove your jewelry from the small bowl and dry it off on the hand towel. Now I bet your diamond jewelry is shining just as much if not more than paying for a jewelry cleaner to do it.
