Things You'll Need:
- 1 lb beef sirloin
- 1 can of potatoes
- 1 can of carrots
- 1 can diced tomatoes w/ garlic, celery and onions
- or Italian Style diced tomatoes
- 1/2 canned or frozen pies
- 1/4 cup seasoned flour
- 1 cup beef or chicken stock
- savory spice and garlic to taste
- 1 pkg boil in bag rice

Step 1
Chop the sirloin into bite sized cubes. Coat the meat in the seasoned flour and sear in a pot or skillet with oil.

Once the meat has browned, add the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into bite sized chunks. Add the potatoes and veggies to the pot. Once it comes to a boil add the chicken broth and let simmer 20-25 minutes. Add garlic and savory seasoning to taste.

The stew is finished when the potatoes are soft and the broth has reduced to a thick sauce. Boil the rice according to the directions on the box. Serve stew over the rice for a hearty meal.
