How to Personalize the Bride and Groom's Table
The wedding reception has become the primary focus of the average wedding, since it is where most of the celebrating takes place and where everyone spends the most time. As you plan your wedding reception and start to consider the interior set up and decorations, put some extra focus on personalizing the bride and groom's table. Since it will be the primary focus of all of the guests, make it stand out.

Consider a sweetheart's table. To make the bride and groom's table really stand out and be completely set apart from the rest of the room, use a sweetheart's table where the bride and groom are seated exclusively without the rest of the wedding party. This table can be set in front of the table where the wedding party and other guests are seated.

Add flowers. While every table in the room may have a flower arrangement on it, the floral decor on the bride and groom's table should be the most elaborate. Choose a large bouquet or arrangement of your chosen flowers and place them in a vase or hang them from the center of the table on the linens.

Add photos. Place framed photos of the bride and groom on their table, or make a photo collage and set it nearby the table on an easel. Choose photos from when they were little, when they first met, when they were dating, and when they got engaged.

Highlight the bride and groom's seats. Find a way to distinguish the bride and groom's seats from the rest of the wedding party or guests. Place embroidered "bride" and "groom" napkins on the seat backs of the bride and groom's chairs, use different colored linens on the table, or give them fancier chairs.

Add extras. To make the bride and groom's table really stand out, set up a latticed arch over the table covered with flowers, or place the table inside or beneath the confines of a small gazebo.
