How to Make Easy Party Meatballs (Sweet and Sour)

    • 2 lb precooked frozen meatballs
    • 1 12 oz jar grape jelly
    • 1 12 oz jar chili sauce

        Spread the meatballs out in a single layer on a cookie sheet and brown in the oven. (Approx. 15 minutes)

        While your meatballs are cooking, heat the grape jelly in a sauce pan on medium-low heat.

        When the jelly begins to melt, add in the chili sauce and stir until smooth.

        Put the meatballs in the crock pot pour in all of the sauce. Use a wooden spoon to gently stir the meatballs until they are coated with the sauce.

        Keep the crock pot on the "warm" or "low" setting and wow your guests with this amazing appetizer!

    Tips & Warnings

    • The important thing about the sauce is that the grape jelly and chili sauce are at a 1:1 ratio. You may not be able to find 12oz jars in your store. Don't sweat it, just try to get the ratio right.

    • It's important to melt the grape jelly first so your sauce isn't lumpy.

    • It takes a really long time (hours and hours) to cook frozen meatballs in a crock pot. Start really early if you're not going to cook the meatballs in the oven.
