There are many options available today for acne scars, on the market today. Many different Creams, lotions, and antibiotics are available. They will try many different acne skin care treatments, trying to find what is right for them; only for their acne condition to get even worse.

    Many products focus on reducing the oil in the skin to get rid of acne scars, acne redness and, getting rid of the dead skin cells. Many people have serious acne scarring that is difficult for them to live with. They are looking for something that will remove the acne scars that have been left behind and healing scars. Having these scars left from the acne, or sometimes even medication is unbearable for some.

  2. Step 2

    They try to find other kinds of treatments. Laser and light therapy for acne reach the deeper skin, and doesn’t cause damage to skin surface. Some therapies improve texture of the skin, and give a better appearance of the skin.

  3. Step 3

    There are several kinds of therapies for acne scar removal and treatment that have been effective. Blue light acne therapy - a painless, low intensity blue light exposed to the skin for removal of scars and acne. Side effects: Temporarily redness or dryness on skin of treated area. Pulsed light and heat energy therapy – Working together, they both work to shrink the acnes and scarring. The FDA has approved a green yellow light- heat that works on mild to moderate acne.

  4. Step 4

    Diode laser treatment – destroys glands in the dermis, the middle layer of skin without harming the outer layers of skin. It can be painful, but treated with analgesics. It’s still unknown who will benefit the most by these laser treatments for acne, including long term risks. They are very expensive.

  5. Step 5

    There is no one treatment for acne scarring for everyone. One of the most used treatments today for acne scar removal is injecting collagen under the skin and under the acne scars. This procedure stretches out the skin making scarring less noticeable. But the injections are only a temporary solution; you will have to have injections periodically.

  6. Step 6

    Microdermabrasion acne treatment is used in conjunction with other lazer or cosmetic treatments. A hand held device that blows crystals onto the skin. They are a gentle abrasive or polish skins surface, followed by a vacume that picks up the skin cells. It’s supposed to exfoliate and unclog your skin pores helping with your acne skin care treatment.

  7. Step 7

    Be realistic of scar treatment acne scars options for scarring and consult a dermatologist. Acne isn’t curable, but with work it can be controlled. It usually takes 6-8 weeks to show any improvements. Stick to your acne treatment regimen and you will see an improvement.
