Things You'll Need:
- A PSP
- Philips screwdriver (#00 or #000)
- Replacement LCD screen
-
Step 1
Make sure you have all the proper tools before hand, and then once your ready, open up your PSP by unscrew the necessary screws and so on. If you need a guide on how to open up a PSP check the resources section.
-
Step 2
Pry up the LCD screen from the PSP, and then you'll have to remove the brown cables by opening up the clasp. There is also a metal piece holding on to the screen, so carefully open that up as well.
-
Step 3
Once everything is unattached, move away the old screen and open up the case with the new one. Remove any plastic film there might be then line it up with the top of the screen.
-
Step 4
Next you need to reattach all the cables just how they were before, make sure to do everything very precisely and carefully. Once connected everything should be able to fit right back in the PSP and then it should run just as new!
