You never have to miss your favorite program again with Directv's HD DVR receiver. Just follow these few simple steps and you are on your way to catching up on all your favorite shows!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Directv HD DVR receiver with DVR subscription
  • TV
  1. Step 1

First select the programs you want to record. Do this by either pressing the 'Guide' button and scrolling through the channels til you find what you want to record, or pressing the 'Menu' button, then 'Search for Shows' and select title, then type in the title of the show you want to record.

  2. Step 2

If you find the show by using the 'Guide' button, simply press 'Select' to bring up the show's information. There will be several choices on the left hand side of the menu box. Select 'Record' and press the Select button. Then select 'Ok'.

  3. Step 3

If you went in and searched for the show through the menu button it will be very much the same thing. Once the information screen is up just select 'Record'. You can see what programs you have scheduled to record by pressing 'Menu', then 'Manage Recordings', and then 'To Do List'.

  4. Step 4

If you are watching tv and something comes on that you would like to record while you are watching it simply press 'Record'.
