Things You'll Need:
- To go shopping around
- The nerve to pick one up
- A small space
- Sand
-
Step 1
Crab In HandChoosing the right crab for your family does not have to be a hard task.
-
Step 2
Is the crab active at all when you pick it up? If so, its a keeper. The crab should not show any signs of abuse or neglect or have broken parts underneath when you pick them up.
-
Step 3
I found these at Hometown Pets in the Lufkin Mall. They are clean, beautifully painted, and no signs of abuse or neglect. I would highly recommend their crabs. We had fun exploring, and they did not fuss when i took pictures.
-
Step 4
Make sure you have a place to keep your new pet when you do take it home. You wont want to put it into anything that it can simply crawl out of. They do seem to like sand, and the more attractive your container, the happier you will be with your new pet. Don't forget the food and water for your crab.
