Things You'll Need:

  • Wild Earth Animal Essences
  1. Step 1
    Salamander (photorack)

Connecting to an Animal Totem may sound a bit too metaphysical for some, or many believe it is knowledge reserved for Native Americans, Shamans or Aborigines. The truth is, if we just glance around our modern homes or take a short walk around the block, our cherished cats, dogs, birds and exotic pets are continually in our midst. Modern man is constantly communicating with the animal kingdom on a daily basis. We just don’t use the word Totem.

  2. Step 2
    Butterfly (photorack)

When we talk about an Animal Totem, most of the time, it isn’t about a physically present animal in our lives, though it could be. The concept of a Totem implies that we are communicating with the “group consciousness” of that particular animal species. If we observe animal behavior, we can’t fail to admit that they are connected to a deeper wisdom. Even their extra sensory abilities have been documented. And one can assume, they may be in some ways more evolved than humankind because of their unconscious-or so we think-abilities to bridge consciousness states.

  3. Step 3

At times in our lives, certain animals may appear: either physically, in dreams, or simply seeing images of that animal repeatedly over a period of time. This is considered a sign that animal is your Totem.

  4. Step 4
    Owl (photorack)

If you have had moments of connection, but would like to facilitate a deeper connection and find your present totem animal; taking Animal Essences will help.

  5. Step 5
    Dolphin (photorack)

Animal essences are liquids that contain the vibrational essence of a particular animal, through ceremonial processes. These ceremonies imprint the liquid with the frequency of that animal consciousness, and help “tune” your energy to theirs.

  6. Step 6
    Wild Earth Essences

The Wild Earth Animal Essences are one place to start. You can look at the guide for the 88 essences and see which one you are drawn to. As you start taking the essence, you will start to feel more and more aware of this animal’s consciousness. It may feel as if suddenly a “phone line” has opened that was always there, but you didn’t know the number or the language. These essences teach you or tweak you in a way, so that the communication lines open.

  7. Step 7
    Snake (photorack)

You can take the essences in many ways. It is recommended though, that you take 5-7 drops, 3-4 times a day. You can take them under the tongue, in a glass of water or in your bath.

Tips & Warnings
  • I took the snake essence at first, which I thought was quite strange since I’m quite afraid of snakes. But I was drawn to the bottle from the website catalogue. Though I have taken many forms of remedies in my life, I never had such a dramatic change as the snake essence initiated in me. The Snake essence is for deep transformation. I felt it was the shedding of a skin. Within days, my complexes and fears that held me back from accomplishing my goals disappeared. I literally woke up the next morning, went out and landed a job after four months of unemployment. The Animal I most feared is now my greatest ally. Now, every time that I feel old fears and beliefs come over me, I connect up with snake, and they shed away.

on 12/7/2008 I also have that fear of snakes. I always have. Even at a young age I had nightmares about them. I know they play their role in the world (I have a few worm snakes living in my grass that eat insects), but I would prefer it if they stay clear of my world.
