Things You'll Need:
- Book - Santa Mouse by Michael Brown
- Cube of cheese fitting for a mouse
- Engagement ring, elegantly wrapped
-
Step 1
"Santa Mouse" by Micael BrownIf you have never read the book "Santa Mouse" by Michael Brown, you need to do this first. Get a copy of the book from the library or buy a copy to give to your fiancée on Christmas Eve. It will be a perfect Christmas gift she won't expect.
-
Step 2
Assuming you are spending some time together on Christmas Eve at home, strike up a conversation about family traditions you loved as a child. Embellish the truth a bit if necessary but Santa Mouse has to be one of the favorites.
-
Step 3
Cuddle up, nice and cozy, while you read the book "Santa Mouse" aloud together.
-
Step 4
Creatively convince her to leave a piece of cheese in a conspicuous place in the Christmas tree for Santa Mouse. Perhaps you want to relive those fond childhood memories?
-
Step 5
If you will not be together all night, wait until it is almost time to depart and as quiet as a mouse, switch the cheese for the engagement ring. Otherwise, wait and switch them later to be found on Christmas morning. You know... after Santa and Santa mouse have delivered the Christmas presents.
-
Step 6
At the appropriate time, lead her to the tree to see if Santa Mouse has eaten his cheese. (Have a camera ready to capture the moment!)
