Bake a Coconut Pineapple (Pina Coloda) Cake

If you a longing for a bit of summer you have got to try this amazing cake. It perfectly combines coconut and pineapple in a cake. It is delicious.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yellow cake mix
  • 1 can cream of coconut
  • 1 can eagle brand milk
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • Whipped topping
  1. Step 1
     

    Mix the Can of cream of coconut with the can of Eagle Brand milk.

  2. Step 2
     

    Drain the can of pineapple. Add the juice only to the milk mixture. Set this aside.

  3. Step 3
     

    Bake your cake as directed on the package. Allow to completely cool until warm to the touch. Using a straw punch holes through the top of the cake.

  4. Step 4

    Pour the pineapple/milk/coconut mixture over the cake. Pour slowly to make sure that the mixture goes into the holes you punched with the straw. Allow it to all soak in.

  5. Step 5
     

    Spread drained pineapple on top of cake.

  6. Step 6
     

    Add whipped topping evenly over top of cake. This will act as the icing. Refrigerate overnight.

  7. Step 7
     

    You can set this out for a few hours or eat straight from the refirgerator. It is GREAT either way.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add flavoring to the whipped topping if you would like. Just stir in 1 tsp of any flavoring into the whipped topping.
