Bridal survival kits make great bachelorette party or bridal shower gifts! They prepare the bride-to-be for any wedding emergency that could compromise her beauty. So grab a little purse or a make up bag and prepare to let the bride shine no matter what comes her way!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a cute bag to put everything in. If you are part of the wedding party and know what is going to match the colors and feel of the big event, then go ahead and find something that matches. Often the maid of honor will be the one carrying this kit around. If you are giving this as a bridal shower gift, then make it something pretty but neutral, perhaps something that can be dropped into another purse.

  2. Step 2
If the bride cries, she might need a q-tip to clean it up!

Pack items that might be necessary for every bride. These might include atoothbrush, toothpaste, floss, mints, pain relievers, deodorant, a brush, hairspray, bobby pins, a small mirror, lint remover, a sewing kit, safety pins, stain remover, kleenex, q-tips, cotton balls, clear nail polish, nail polish remover, an emery board, antibacterial hand gel, lotion, tampons or pads, straws (so she can drink without messing up her lipstick), spare batteries, bandaids, and a snack or two, since the bride may often be too busy to eat properly.

  3. Step 3
Better safe than sorry! Bring extras.

If you are the bride, or someone close to her, make sure she brings personal items as well. Include lip stick and other makeup that might need retouching, nail polish that matches the shade she is using, extra nylons, medications, extra contact lenses, jewelry and anything else that might need to be reapplied or replaced.

  4. Step 4

If you have been married, think about what you wish you would've had. Did anything go wrong and you didn't have what you needed to fix it? Add anything else you can think of.

  5. Step 5

A nice touch is a personal note or lucky charm. You could even include a happy picture of her with the groom. This will let the bride know that you really care and might even calm her down if she's stressing out a lot!

Tips & Warnings
  • You don't have to include all of this in the kit. Even if you just get it started, it will remind the bride that she needs to bring some extra things!
  • Your kit might be lost, so don't put anything that is needed on the honeymoon or that is irreplaceable in the kit.
