Things You'll Need:
- Empty wipes tubs
- Sharpie marker
-
Step 1
Find a place in your home where you can save those empty wipes tubs. If you flip the lids open, you can stack five or six of them inside each other to save space.
-
Step 2
Pick your first organizing project with the tubs. One good idea is to use the tubs to organize small pieces of an older child's toys: puzzle pieces, Barbie accessories, flashcards, and more. My daughter has a tub full of Dora the Explorer figures, Pez dispensers, and another full of tools for playing with Play-doh.
-
Step 3
Label one end of the tub with what's inside. Sharpie markers work best for this. Then stack the tubs wherever you choose!
-
Step 4
Move on to another area of the house. Those baby wipe tubs are fantastic in the garage - you can use one for each type of nail, screw, nut and bolt!
-
Step 5
Be creative and keep looking for ways to use those tubs. Not only are you saving the environment by re-using them, you are saving yourself a lot of money on buying boxes, baskets and other organizing tools.
-
Step 6
Some more ideas for uses of baby wipes tubs:
scrapbooking supplies, crayons, markers, other craft supplies, childproofing supplies like outlet covers, sewing kit, receipts that need to be kept, coins, first aid kit, and any other small items that need to be kept together, like the pieces that turn your baby's crib into a toddler bed someday!
