How to Apply Makeup

Makeup can cover our flaws, make us feel sexy, and bring out more of our features. This eHow to article is going to help you do just that!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Primer
• Foundation
• Loose Mineral Powder
• Blush
• Large Makeup Brush
• Blush Brush
• Lipstick
• Mascara

1. Clean your face with a facial cleanser then dry.
   Apply primer to the face using fingers or sponge.
   Apply foundation with a sponge using a dabbing motion.

2. 
    

   Get your mineral loose powder and empty some into the lid. Now take the large makeup brush and swirl it around. Tap off any excess. I like to use the mary-kate brand or Rimmel. Sweep across face gently.

3. Now you're ready to apply blush. Whatever color you like. I like to go with the icy pink or natural bronze looking blushes. Using the blush brush again sweep across blush, tap off excess and apply from the bottom of your cheek up to the cheek bone. Also apply lightly to the nose, forehead, and chin.

4. Lipstick. Outline the lips with a lip pencil. Sweep a bit of loose powder over the lips to keep it on longer. Next apply lipstick. You can also dab a bit of lip gloss over your lipstick to give it a shine.

5. Next apply your mascara, starting at the base of the lash and up. You can also do the same to the bottom lashes if you wish.

Tips & Warnings

• Use concealer if needed.
• Concealer is good for dark under-eye circles as well as blemishes
• Also mascara and eyeliner are great to bring out features
• Do not get any in your eyes.
