Things You'll Need:
- A raw potato cut in half
- a broom and dust pan
- a vaccume cleaner
-
Step 1
First, take your broom and dust pan and sweep up any glass that is on the floor. Be careful in doing this and do not touch any of the glass. Lightbulb glass is very fine and VERY sharp, even the slightest touch can cut you. Next take your vaccume cleaner and vacume up the area as well as the broom bristles to make sure all the tiny pieces too small to get are up. No one likes a shard of glass in the foot.
-
Step 2
Next, take a raw potato and carefully cut it in half.
-
Step 3
Now stand on a sturdy stool, ladder or chair if you're too short to reach the light socket. Carefully place the potato directly under the light bulb and push very gently and slowly onto the lightbulb. The glass should slide right into the potato and stick.
-
Step 4
Now carefully and slowly turn the potato and your lightbulb should come right out!
