Step 1
Watch your pet rock. Wondering off to get away from crowds is something your pet rock will do if you don’t keep a close eye on him or her. Feeling nervous and intimidated in your home during parties is common for pet rocks. Make sure you pet rock feels safe and secure so it won’t want to get away from the noise and the people.
-
Step 2
Choose pet rock-safe decorations. Pet rocks tend to want to taste anything they think looks good to eat. This is true of decorations. Keep small ornaments out of your pet rock’s reach. Be careful of the tinsel; this can cause bowel obstructions in pet rocks.
-
Step 3
Feed your pet rock food that is safe. Pet rocks love human food, despite the fact it can be deadly to them. Do not allow them to eat to much of your Christmas dinner. This can cause gravel in their stools as well as kidney stones.
-
Step 4
Keep pet rocks safe while cooking. Let them help with tasks they can handle. Move the handles to the pots and pans to the middle of the stovetop so nothing will get knocked over on them. Make sure they are not too close to the stove or microwave.
