Things You'll Need:
- 9x9 inch square baking dish
- Lasagna noodles, cooked
- Chicken, cooked and chunked
- Frozen vegetables, your choice
- Your choice of cheese
- 1 jar of Alfredo sauce
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
* Line 9x9 baking dish with aluminum foil leaving enough room of the sides to fold over the top to make a "pouch". -
Step 2
Alternate layering the noodles, sauce, vegetables, and chicken in the baking dish.
-
Step 3
Cook in oven until sauce is bubbling and dish is heated through. Approx. 20-25 min.
* Fold aluminum foil over and seal. Label with name and date. Leave in the baking dish and put in freezer. About 10-15 minutes it will be frozen enough to remove the dish (the aluminum foil will retain the shape). -
Step 4
Sprinkle cheese on top. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
-
Step 5
* Cooking directions for frozen casserole: preheat oven to 425. Place aluminum pouch in 9x9 baking dish. Heat in oven for about 15 min. Open pouch and cook for 10-15 min more or until the sauce is bubbling and casserole is heated through. Sprinkle cheese on top. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
