Need your acrylic nails gone? Then keep reading

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Nail Clippers
  • 100% Pure Acetone (sallys,Wal-mart,walgreens, ect.)
  • A big container
  • 1 class container
  • hot water
  • A good nail file, one that is pretty ruff.
  1. Step 1

First you need to get a glass bowl and a bigger plastic bowl. You need the glass bowl for the acetone or else the acetone would melt a plastic bowl. And the bigger plastic bowl is for hot water. Since this process can take a while, I suggest doing it with a T.V. near so you can watch t.v. wile taking these babies off. so if you have a sturdy TV Tray that would be a good thing to use while you watch TV.

  2. Step 2

Next you will need to put very hot water in the plastic bowl and put the glass bowl in the middle of the plastic bowl. Pour the acetone into the glass bowl. Now you will need to put one hand into the glass bowl, just so the nails are in the acetone. Let each hand sit in the acetone for about 15 minutes each. Now you will need to take your hands out of the acetone about every 5 minutes and when you do that, grab your nail file and buff away the acrylic. It will be very slimy and gooey but that is a sign that the acetone is doing it's job. Repeat this process until the nails come off with ease.

  3. Step 3

Once you have all your nails off, you will want to condition your nails with cuticle oil or hand lotion. File your real nails down so the edges are no longer ruff and jagged. You can put a nail hardener on if you like.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep an old towel near to wipe your hands.
  • patience is key
  • KEEP ACETONE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN & ANIMALS
  • ACETONE IS VERY TOXIC
  • PUT AN OLD TOWEL OVER YOUR HANDS WILE SOAKING TO AVOID INHALING THE ACETONE
