Buy Video Games Cheap

Are you wanting to buy a video game for yourself or as a gift for the holidays? Why pay full price for a video game when you don't have to. Here are some tips on how to get video games at a bargain price.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first rule of buying games cheap is to buy used. Used video games are just as good as brand new video games so resist the urge to have that video game on the first day it is out. Used games go on sale all the time at places like gamestop, best buy, hasting, etc. These places almost always have shelves full of used games that you can get at a fraction of the price of brand new games.

  2. Step 2

Check out bargain bins. When you go to stores like walmart even though they don't sell used items they often times have a bargain bin. These are usually games that are on clearance and they are trying to get rid of. It is a treasure trove of games that you can get at a great price.

  3. Step 3

Pawn shops. Check out the pawn shops in your area, lots of pawn shope these days carry video games. You can usually make a pawn shop a deal on a bundle of games and end up with a pile of games for cheap.

  4. Step 4

Go to garage sales. Many people are trying to make some quick cash when they are in a tight spot. Lots of times the first thing to be sold is the entertainment console they don't have time to use anyway. This is a great way to score some awesome video games (and perhaps even a console) for cheap, make them an offer, especially if you see a console bundled with a bunch of games.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do your research and find out how much games are worth used/new so you don't get ripped off.
