This recipe uses whole wheat flour. Your husband and children will NEVER KNOW it is a "healthier" cookie unless you tell them it's got whole wheat. They will just keep coming back for more.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  6. Step 6

Add 2 cups whole wheat flour into the mixing bowl.

  7. Step 7

    Add 2 cups rolled oats.

  8. Step 8

    Add 1/2 tsp salt.

  9. Step 9

    Add 1 tsp baking soda.

  10. Step 10

    Add 1/2 tsp baking powder.

  11. Step 11

Blend together these ingredients. Then add 1 cup chocolate chips.

  12. Step 12

Grease your cookie sheets with PAM. Then drop rounded size spoonfuls of the dough onto the cookie sheets keeping a space of about 2 inches in between each cookie.

  13. Step 13

Now cook them in the oven for 8-12 minutes at 350 degrees.

  14. Step 14

Let them cool for 2 minutes after you take them out of the oven before removing them from the cookie sheet.

  15. Step 15

Instead of cookies, you can make these into bars by placing all of the dough in a greased 9x13 pan.

  16. Step 16

Then you would cook this for 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees.

  17. Step 17

Once it was done cooking, you would leave it in the pan to cool.
