Step 1
CHECK OUT "THE WORD OF PROMISE" NEW TESTAMENT! This was featured on "The Bible Answer Man" a couple days ago and I am so excited that I will be buying one for my husband, parents and extended family. This New Testament Bible stars Academy Award Winning Actress/Actors, has an original musical score by Italian composer Stefano Mainetti and is just mesmorizing to listen to. It is PERFORMED with such high caliber and creativity and really makes the Bible come alive. I would recommend using this Bible to coincide with your daily Bible reading. Read the scriptures by yourself or with your family and then listen to it on the ride to school/work, etc. This is sure to inspire you to get a great understanding of Bible Scripture and to reach your Bible Study goals for the New Year. Use the resource link below to hear excerpts from the Audio Bible and see if it is the correct tool for you.

Step 2
CHECK OUT THE FREE DOWNLOADABLE AUDIO BIBLE! The resources available to us via the internet are completely astounding. Use this tool to download the complete Bible Scriptures, Old Testament and New Testament in MP3 Format. This website features Bibles in different languages and formats. Choose the one which is best applicable to your needs and download it to your iPod, burn a CD or listen to it on your computer while doing tasks around the house. Because these scripts are read instead of performed, you can listen to these Audio Bibles as a stand alone or supplement it with thoughtful Bible Study.

Step 3
MAKE IT ROUTINE! Once you have decided whether you want the free downloadable Bible or the performance "Word of Promise" Bible, make listening part of your daily routine. Before putting it on, always say a prayer that the Holy Spirit will give you understanding and support you to apply the information you have learned to your life. Then choose a time where you can listen giving great attention to detail. This can be while doing a different task such as driving or exercising, or as a family after dinner. Instead of gathering around the tv, consider getting blankets and cuddling together while listening to the performance or reading of scripture.

on 12/6/2008 I like your ideas because I absorb things better if I hear them rather than just reading them. I will try that.
