You want to put all your contact information on top. This includes Name, Address, Phone Number, and Email address. Then put a bold line the width of the page under all that. After that hit enter twice.

Next you want to put your objective, for example mine is "seeking an entry level job in the field of marketing and sales." Under that you want to put your educational information. For example mine was Graduated from St. Cloud State University with a 3.1 GPA. If your GPA is not over 3 then don't put it on your resume. If you don't have any college experience then put your high school information, the year you graduated and from what high school

The next step is to put your work experience. You want to put at least 3 different jobs. You should put the 3 or 4 most relevant jobs to the job your seeking. Under each work experience you can put a reference or you can put all the references under the work experiences under a different heading.

Finally, if there is room you can fill it with any volunteer work or an internship.
