Things You'll Need:
- Internet connection
-
Step 1
Go to Yahoo! Answer's website to look for the newest internet trend. As it says here on eHow, (under the "write" tab) sites like Yahoo is a useful tool for anyone interested in internet marketing trends. “Cross promote your eHow work, link back to your articles and spread information...Find a forum where people are discussing your subject, and post your article...consider using sites like Answerbag and Yahoo ! Answers to point relevant questions to your articles, where you provide the answers." The questions asked here are current internet trends, so you can focus your ideas on what to write about! Just click “answer” to read through questions to find the latest internet trend.
-
Step 2
Choose a question from Yahoo! Answers that you have experience with, or knowledge about. Make it is a question that you can answer in "How To" format. Write a detailed, thoughtful article with step by step directions that follow a logical, sequential, and easy to follow order. Proofread your work to help make sure it is a quality article that addresses this internet trend.
-
Step 3
Avoid posting links on Yahoo! Answers. Be advised that they suspended my account. I did not write anything illegal, harmful, hateful or hurtful on the site. I did not post anything off-topic. I simply posted an answer to popular "askers'" questions that I determined was a hot internet trend, along with a link to an article I wrote here on eHow with more in depth directions. Yahoo! Answers has not told me specifically why I was suspended although I Emailed them twice.
-
Step 4
Take pride in knowing that although Yahoo! Answers can suspend your account, they can not take your eHow articles away from you. AND you can continue to get ideas for articles to write based on their reader's questions. You CAN continue to help those seeking information online. Hooray! Good luck using this site to find internet marketing trends!

on 9/28/2009 Hi zzzz,
Thanks for verifying my step 3 for me with such emphasis. Yahoo! Answers is great for finding out the types of questions people want answered, but so many of the responses on there are junk. The great thing about eHow articles is that they are step by step and answer people's questions step by step. So as "askers" on Yahoo! get fed up with silly questions and turn to Google for their questions they can find eHow articles in their searches. That's the beauty of SEO, if people are asking about it online, they WILL find you! Good luck with your articles.

on 9/28/2009 STEP ONE do NOT ADVERTISE on Yahoo Answers.
DO NOT TRY TO USE YAHOO ANSWERS to drive traffic to your E-how pages (or blog or website).
Yahoo calls that "solicitation", and it is taken as seriously as simple spamming. It WILL lead to your account being suspended and all your content wiped.
Some people who persisted found even their ISP accounts suspended.
Even if you don't do it on every answer, they will get you for it. Doesn't matter how good the answer is, either. If you are driving traffic they will drive you out. It is a site for answers, not free advertising.

on 12/5/2008 sorry, they suspended your account - maybe because of the link? that is a good idea, once you find a topic you know, look at wordtracker for good keywords.
