How to use your Blackberry Pearl as a Modem with Windows XP or Vista

The BlackBerry Pearl is a versatile and popular smartphone that is helpful for organizing your messages, calendar and media. However, as long as you have a BlackBerry data plan with your cellular provider, you can also use the BlackBerry Pearl as an IP (or "tethered") modem with your Windows XP or Vista computer. Download and install the necessary BlackBerry software and connecting to the Internet using your BlackBerry Pearl is an easy task. Get the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from the BlackBerry website and install the application to your Windows XP or Vista machine.
